A fool and his money
I was in Vegas this spring and was seated at a $3/$6 kill table. We were playing a kill pot hand, and I was seated in the dealers position. As the dealer is dealing she flips over the 6 of diamonds inadvertently, so it gets mucked. The first position raises to $12 2nd calls third raises to $18. The next couple fold. The guy before caps the betting, at $24. I peek at my cards, sure I am going to fold. Ah Ad LOL, So I call. the two blinds fold. Everyone else calls. Pot is $138. The flop comes As-6h-6s. 1st position $6 2nd calls, 3rd raises to $12 4th calls, I raise to $18. 1st position caps the raise at $24 every one calls. Pot is at $258.
The turn comes and it's the 9s. 1st guy bets $12, 2-raises to $24, 3 raises to $36, 4 folds I cap it at $48, everyone calls. Pot sits at $440. I am already spending my winnings LOL The river comes 9c. 1 bets $12, 2 calls 3 raises to $24, I raise to $36, 1 raises to $48 everybody calls. Pot is $632 1st guy turns over Ac 6c. 2nd guy shows Ks,Qs, 3rd guy turns over 9h,9d. My jaw hit the table. The only justice was that over the next 3 hands he gave it all back, unfortunately I didn't win any of it.
