I am definitely a limit player

I play often and consistently on limit tables and profit well from hanging around for the River. I recently played a little no limit and lightning can certainly strike twice! First i called a $5 raise form the big blind. One other on the table joined in. I had J 7 suited so the hand held possibilities. Down came the flop J 7 7. Sweet! He bets $10, the other person drops out, i call. On the turn, a 3. He bets $25. He's taken the bait. I raise him all in, he has pocket rockets of course. He's history! But

No the river brings an Ace and I'm fuming. Should I have called in the first place? I log off immediately. But I'm back to gove it another go. First hand I'm dealt pocket rockets! Sweet! I'm before the small and big blind. All fold to me. I raise $3, small blind folds. But wait, big blind raises me $14. I re-raise all in. I'm not messing around here. He might get lucky. He calls. He has 10 7 off-suit. The idiot! But wait the flop comes 10 7 3. There is no Ace or saving 2 pair coming on the turn or river for me. I know now I am a limit player!
