Hello my name is bostontiger to all our u.bers my story is about my worst bad beat ever in a cash game I was playing in a 10 25 nl game at a casino up here in Canada where I flopped the nuts and got a bad beat that doesn't even qualify as a bad beat because I finished third in the hand lol i have pocket jacks johnnys as us poker players like to call them anyways I raise preflop to 100 standard 4 times the big blind I got 4 callers someone sitting three seats to my left and the 2 blinds which are 2 seats to my right the flop comes out Js Jd Qd so I've now flopped quads with 400 in the pot the small blind bets out the pot 400 dollar wager the gentleman in the bb now folds I call with the nuts the other player to my left raises it up to 1500 the sb thinks for sec and calls I also just call with no reason to push these guys out with the nuts now we have a nice size pot of 4900 dollars the turn is the 2c so now we have a board of Js Jd Qd 2c sb checks I check thinking the
guy to my left will bet and I can rewrap the two of them with a raise on the back end to my surprise he checks now I put one of them on a flush draw and maybe the other on KQ or AQ 2 hands players normally call preflop even with a small raise. The river card hits 10 of diamonds great I figure that's my money card and I'm already counting the stacks on either side of me the sb bets out all in for 4800 all his chips plus 2000 in hundred dollar bills as we allow cash on our table in Canada in the big games I have just under 10k in front of me left I push all in for 9750 it all happened so quickly then the guy to my left says I call he's got just over 8k 8210 in front of him so now we have a pot of 26,120im thinking great patience has paid off for my 6 hour session finally I grabbed a big pot at this table and I stacked both these guys well not only did I not win the pot I finished third in the hand I didn't even qualify for a bad beat even if the casino was running 1 I lost to the sb who had 98 of diamonds who makes the straight flush on the river with the 1 outer and he lost to the gentleman to my left who had AK of diamonds who also spiked the 1 outer on the river to make a royal flush wow i finished third in a hand where i flopped the nuts, quad jacks! I mean how do you lose with quads! Unreal that was my worst bad beat ever I've lost several pots where people hit 1 outers every one of us has been rivered and
turned and flopped it happens but never have I flopped the all mighty quads and finished third in a hand I hope you enjoyed my bad beat cause I'll never forget it. I guess it a pattern with me I've played this game for 16 years and
I've never hit a royal flush in all my time on the felt but I've been beaten by 6 lol this is my story
