Playing 4 tables, I had pocket 8's which had flopped a set, when I saw OJo dealt to me on another table. I was in middle position, so thought it worth a call. I could fold to a large raise or get away from the hand cheaply after the flop if necessary.

Meanwhile, my set is holding up nicely. Out of the corner of my eye I see a flop dealt on my QJo table followed immediately by a hefty raise, so I know it's Plan B, the quick fold. My set has gone to the river, and I'm trying to figure how much to bet to ensure a call, while idly flicking the mouse towards the "fold" button to muck the QJo. It reaches the button, my brain says "click mouse", just as curiosity compels me to take a look at that flop - it's QQJ!!! Every fiber in my body screamed: "Nooooo! Stop! Don't click".

Of course, that message was second in my personal memory buffer, and could not be executed until the first had been. My finger clicked the mouse, and that was that.

It cost me a 150BB pot, so I now remember to "Look! Decide! Click", not "Click, look, swear a lot".

The warning is: when playing multiple tables do not go into autopilot - it's expensive!
